«We encourage activity in town councils»
This department helps the townships in the Western Costa del Sol Town Council Association have their own machinery for street maintenance works: lighting, sewage, beach cleaning, and so on.
The Association’s role is to make the necessary arrangements for town councils to buy machinery using the Works and Services Provincial Plans sponsored by the Government of Málaga Province.
The first step is a tender to find the most convenient supplier. The Association contributes 50% of the purchase amount.
In addition, a technical engineer helps townships find the best offer for each of them, according to their characteristics and their needs.
